Where do the grants come from?

We save our donations up, pooling them to maximize their value. When interest is earned on those funds, we make donations via grants to area non-profits.

Our Foundation is like a savings account for the community. We keep building up the balance with donations which means the amount of grant money available grows, too. There is one big difference however we don't spend the donated money, it remains with us forever. Instead we work with the income generated from those funds each year to make the grants.
