How to Apply for a Grant

Each year, CRCF awards grants to community organizations for specific projects. A call for applications will be made early in the year, with an application deadline the first Friday in April. We precede this deadline with notification in the local media and on this web site. Application forms are located in the lower left corner of this web page. They are available in Word and PDF format.

Your organization must meet some minimum criteria in order to be considered for a grant. It must be a not-for-profit entity possessing or having access to, a B.C. Society number and a Registered Charity number or Registered Business number. If your organization issues Federal tax receipts, that is usually a sign that these conditions exist.

We wish to fund projects that complete by October 31st of the year you received your grant. The Foundation requires a written report or progress report on your project by October 31st of that year.

Although, so many initiatives and projects are worthy of funding, there are restrictions. These are outlined on the page called Grant Eligibility which we would appreciate you reviewing.

If you have any questions about your organization’s eligibility or require more information, please feel free to contact Cheryl Mailman at cherylmailman [at] aol [dot] com.
