Your organization must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for grants from the Community Foundation:

  • The organization must be located in the Community Foundation’s service area, which is within School District #72’s (Campbell River and Area) boundaries.

  • The organization must be a BC registered Society. Those societies which are not registered charities under the Income Tax Act must arrange to apply through an organization that is a registered charity, and which will accept the grant on their behalf. (A charity number must be included in the application)

  • Provide a benefit to the citizens of the geographic area served by the Foundation.

  • Applicants must demonstrate fiscal responsibility and effective management.

  • Provide all information requested according to the Foundation Grant Making Guidelines.

  • Projects must align with one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's).  For more information about the SDG's please click HERE
